Jannal Orathil - Vijayakanth Hits

This is a hit song from the movie Engall Anna starring Vijayakanth, Prabhu Deva, Pandiyarajan, Vadivelu, Namitha, Swarnamalya and others. The comedy sequences in the movie were really enjoyable. Incidentally this was the debut movie for Namitha. Though Vijayakanth and Vadivelu had their problems after this movie the comic scenes featuring the two actors were hilarious in several bits and parts. 

Prabhu Deva - A R Rahman Hit - 1996

This is a hit song from the 1996 Prabhu Deva movie Mr. Romeo. The movie was directed by K S Ravi not to be confused with the other popular director K S Ravikumar. The music for the movie was scored by A R Rahman. The movie saw Prabhu Deva in a double role with Shilpa Shetty and Madhubala as his pairs. This particular song has been sung by Swarnalatha, Unni Menon, Srinivas, and Sujatha. Though the song itself was a hit the movie had not done too well.

This is a super hit song with a nicely choreographed dance sequence performed by Prabhu Deva and Kajol in the Movie Minsara Kanavu. This movie was produced by the famous production house of Tamil Movie Industry AVM, to mark their 50th Year in the Industry. The music for this film was composed by A R Rahman and the Movie was directed by Rajeev Menon.

Karthik Hits - Raajaa Raajaathi Raajan

This is a superhit song from the movie Agninakshatram starring Karthik, Prabhu, Amala, Nirosha and others. The movie was directed by Maniratnam and the music composed by Illayaraja. The movie had been cinematographed by P C Sriram who till date is Maniratnam's friend (as mentioned my Maniratnam himself in a recent interview). The lighting and processing technique used in this movie is supposed to be unique. But honestly it is difficult to watch the movie with all these lights coming from the wrong(?) angles! there is another unique thing about this song. The young boy who is dancing in the front row in a white shirt to the left of Karthik is none other than Prabhu Deva himself! this is the first screen appearance for Prabu Deva!

Vijay Hits - Vaadaa Maappilla

This a recent hit song of Vijay from the movie Villu directed by Prabhu Deva. The movie also features Nayantara, Vadivelu and others. Though all the the songs in the movie had been a hit the movie has not done well and has put pressure on Vijay to come up with the goods in his next release. The earlier movie Pokkiri which had the same Prabhu Deva and Vijay combination had been a hit which has also been made in Hindi under the name Wanted starring Salman Khan.

Prabhudeva Hits - Chikkubukku Rayiley

This is a superhit song from the movie Gentleman starring Arjun, Madhubala, Goundamani and others. This song featuring Prabhudeva and Gowthami is an item song in the movie which also features Raju Sundaram Prabhudeva's brother. The music was by A R Rahman and the movie was directed by Shankar. Note that in Shankar's next movie (Kadhalan) after this one Prabhudeva was the hero.

This is a super hit song from the super hit movie Chinnathambi starring Prabhu and Kushboo composed by Illayaraja. Prabhu and Kushboo had been a hit pair those days with the rumours doing the rounds about them during that period.
