This is a hit song from the movie Billa which was a remake of the Rajnikanth starrer of the same name. The original song featured Rajnikanth and Sripriya. this song features Ajith and Nayanthara. Ajith had revealed in an interview he had suggested the idea of remaking such popular movies even before the trend of remaking old movies had started but then the idea had not been accepted by the producers and directors. Once the trend of remaking old movies picked up about two years back Ajith had done this movie and it had gone on to become a huge hit. But when the same team of Ajith and Nayanthara came together again for the remake of Main Hoon Na (Aegan) it failed at the Box Office.
