This is a superhit song from the movie Kushi starring Vijay, Jyothika, Vijayakumar and others. The movie had been directed by S J Surya, after his massive hit debut with Ajith, Vaali. This movie too had done very well at the box office. S J Surya had never been able to repeat the success of his first two movies. Jyothika who had been introduced by him in Vaali in a small role plays the heroine in this one. Jyothika had been appreciated by one and all more for her variety of facial expressions than for her actual histrionic skills! In this movie Vijay had done some bungee jumping (without a dupe) which is featured in another hit song from this movie. The music for this movie had been done by Deva. That was a peak period for Deva one can say. The song has been sung by Hariharan and Anuradha Sriram.
