This is a superhit song from the movie Tajmahal directed by Bharathiraja, featuring his own son Manoj and Riya Sen (daughter of Bengali actress Moon Moon Sen). The music of course had been composed by A R Rahman. The movie did not do well but all songs of the movie had been a huge hit. The song had bee sung by Srinivas who had initially been singing 'Track' for A R Rahman. Today you can see Srinivas appearing as a judge in several singing competitions and reality shows based on music and singing on various TV channels.
